Oh no Claire - poor Eliza. I hope she will be ok - all fingers & toes crossed that she's back to her normal self ASAP xx

I really hope she's ok. I've had good results with Pro-Kolin (for cats and dogs!) with persistent diarhoea (damn it can't spell!), it does dry them up. You can also try ASAP powder from Galen's Garden, you sprinkle it on their food - I'm sure if you emailed she'd pop some to you in the post quickly.

Fingers crossed

She seems a little better today. She is still eating but I have noticed she is picking at food. The vet said it's because she will be feeling unwell like we do with a tummy upset so will be eating what she feels like eating. She has just had some pepper and tomato and a little cucumber. The Vet said not to change her diet too much but give her veggies in small quantities. I have checked the hutch and there is know diarrhea but it stopped and came back again at the beginning of the week. One thing I have learned is that she hates the syringe. We gave her the baytril this morning and the first attempt was a disaster as it ended up all over her face. It is no where as easy as it was with Connie :))

I know that feeling of needing ten hands to keep hold of one little determined wiggly piggie... It's less the syringe than the awful taste of baytril - plus, ELiza is quite dominant, so she won't put up with it!

Keep monitoring her weight. If she loses 3-4oz you need to start with CC. Make sure she drinks plenty!

All the best to the poorly little girl!
