Sorry I have not put something on sooner. Last year Waffy had a grass seed in her eye, it was most awful. I had to pull it out. it was large and had spiky hairs in the wrong direction. It was 1cm ish in length. Her cornea was ulcerated, it was awful. Pulling the seed out was one of the worst things I had to do. She was suffering and her eye was red and swollen. The vet flushed water in to check it was all gone. You could always drop water into the eye to get it irrigated.
She was tested with the eye drops that highlight the damage. She was given antibiotic drops and viscogel. Viscogel is available at chemists. It soothes the eye. She made a good recovery, we went for check ups to see the ulcer was getting smaller.
I am not sure I would use salt water on an ulcerated cornea. When you use water I would boil it and let it cool first, so it is sterile.

Glad she has the eye drops, as the others have it should recover quite quickly now you've started the drops. She'll soon perk up when the pain starts to ease:)
Well done for spotting it so quickly.
Here's to a full &Speedy recovery from the girls &I. Xx
