Thanks for providing the extra information. I agree, it isn’t a massive amount of weight loss and i wouldn’t be worrying yet particularly if he still eating for himself as well as taking his support feeds but I would monitor the situation daily
Nope not yet. What do you mean what he should be eating?If he's not eating what he should be in a day then you really need to keep up with the syringe feeding to help him recover. Have you tried a bowl of mashed up pellets?

ThanksHe should be eating hay more than anything else so unless he is eating a good amount of hay and maintaining his weight on hay etc then you need to continue syringe feeding
About 3-4 times a day. A good few hours between each feed. I’ve managed to feed him 4 times today the other days have been a struggle so I’ve only managed to feed him 5/10mlHow often in a day are you syringe feeding him/how many hours between each feeding?
