Uses for Critical care a few months past exp.

I have a few bags of Oxbow papaya critical care. One bag says the Best Buy date was in September of this year so only a couple months ago.

Penelope is around 6 years old & is doing well and not ill. I was trying to think of ways I could use this bag as I know it’s not usually bad right at the Best Buy date. I was thinking of giving her a bowl a day as a little snack or not sure if it’s possible to make treats out of it?

Does anyone have any ideas or should I just not bother? I hate to throw away a whole unopened bag

When Micah needed Critical Care his cagemate Ruth wanted to share.
To stop her grabbing the syringe out of his mouth I gave her one too.
I see no problem in giving Penelope a bit as a treat, as long as she’s eating well for herself and isn’t overweight.
I’m sure she would enjoy it.
