Oh bless them, what a nightmare that they've both gotten poorly at the same time though! mallethead

Sounds like you've got onto it quickly though so i'm sure they'll both be back to normal by the end of the week (fingers crossed!) and hope that Megan loves one of those hays!

Aw, so sorry to hear your girls are not well :(
Sending loads of healing vibes for speedy recoveries to Treacle and Megan from all of us here x>>
Tbh, I've found the veg recently is rubbish and am throwing tons out for fear of upset tums :...

How are the girls doing ?/

Hey Trace,

Meg's poo's are getting better! But we haven't re-introduced veg yet... Bought her some Botanical hay and Oat hay and she's so-so about them, but the good news is she's not lost any weight and is nomming her Orchard grass.
Bit concerned over vit C intake as we have to make warm pellet mash for her to eat so that would probably destroy the added Vit C.

Treacy-Bum is looking fine and displaying her usual level of energy by lying down to eat from the food bowl :)) so hopefully she is on the mend.

Thanks for asking, hope your gang are all well x

It is a relief to here Megan has not lost any weight. Treacle sounds relaxed! Haha.

Great news that they are both doing well, its good to hear megan hasn't lost any weight!

You've got a lazy pig too then? Its not just scrummy that trys to make her way around the cage by crawling and laying down to eat and drink? :)) xx

Aw, glad to hear things are ok with them xoxo
I know it's not always advisable but maybe some Vit. C in her water could help if you're worried...Asda have the soluble ones. I spoke to a vet recently regarding the conflicting opinions about this and she stated it is only 'pee'd out' not absorbed so cannot cause an overdose ?/ She has guineas herself so could sway me if I had a piggy who couldn't have veg.
Poor Megan :( (I'd sneak her a bit of pepper ;))

Hugs to all and our lot are really well thanks x>>

Glad to hear they are geting better. Like Tracey says, there's no possibility of a Vit C overdose so try soluble or our boys will sometimes swallow a bit of vit C tablet if they are a bit short and need a top up...
