we think he's dying

just received email from the vet that took biopsy sample - a few weeks after our boy's gone:

Coo had thyroid cancer and the infection took hold because he was too week.

got so upset, it doesn't help being at work while reading that 8...
 
Big hugs. Difficult news to get but you already know you did everything possible for your boy. He was so loved. :rose
 
No its not a nice thing to have to deal with when you're at work. It sounds to me that you did all you could for Coo, bless him. Thyroid cancer indeed sounds like something that wouldn't have been treatable. He knew you loved him loads x
 
BIG HUGS - you did everything you could for him. Coco knew hwo much he was loved!

But it brings it all up again, and that it very painful.
 
thanks so much everyone. it's very hard for us still to deal with his loss: we miss him everywhere around the house
my mum passed away last year same month as Big Coo (from thyroid cancer, too) - never expected my favourite pet to go this way, brings back all the memories
