Just a reminder that it's going to get a bit blustery here in the UK overnight and in the early hours of tomorrow. So for all outdoor hutches, extra covers because of the wind chill, and securing them too. Plenty of hay to burrow under, any snuggle safes put in also. Move any items that could be blown over and damage your hutch(s) and secure down.

Have a great and safe night.

Glad you said this! I'm bringing Frank in tonight as well as my bantam Gloria
Good idea, I think us in the Midlands are going to get a battering.
Already been out and checked twice. Husband says 'now what you doing'... me: just gonna check the hutches again and wedge some stuff up against the hutches.
There comes the scraping of heavy furniture....lol

The things we do.

Hi guys! When you bring your pigs indoors during a storm, do you have an emergency hutch or do you create an impromptu shelter for them? I was going to bring Teddy in last night but I didn't really know what to build as his spare hutch is with my parents.

If you are jut bringing in overnight, a large cat carrier or box will do if you have nothing else
