Hi,
as some of you might know, I have 3 pigs, a long-haired coronet who's 6 months, a abbysinian cross who's 5 months, and a short-haired cream who's 4 months.
My long-haired coronet seems to be skinnier than my 5 month old, and looks around the same weight as my 4 month old.
Here is the 6 month old..
And the 5 month old...
(she does look a bit fatter then usual on this, she's sorta' perching on the floor.)
I'll be weighing them today, so I'll post the weights.
Also, I've heard 800grams is the average for a 6 month old, 775grams for a 5 month old, and 725grams for a 4 month old, is this correct?
If my 6 month old weighed less than 800grams (or the correct weight), how much below was okay, before I need to start getting worried?
Oh, and what are the possible dieses/problems of piggy weight loss, if she is loosing weight?
Thanks guys, as you can tell, I'm a little bit paranoid about things like this. :{
