Can they eat the seeds from the peppers then ? Didn't think they could

I feed mine all 3 (red yellow and green). Red is highest in vitamin C but mine will eat all of them and don't so much have a colour preference :)

Mine are a bit weird about peppers. I still give them a couple of chunks every few days but they get left until the very last...If at all.

I've read somewhere that red peppers have the highest content of vit c but can't remember where I read it

Sainsburys do 1 large pepper for 80p, but tescos do a pack of three giant peppers for 90p. Mine eat all colours but red is there favourite!

I gave mine peppers for the first time today. The small sweet ones , they loved the pepper tops!
Should they have these everyday or every couple?

Mine will only eat red peppers, they will pick at the green ones but completely leave yellow peppers. They really are so fussy when it comes to veg! Fussy or spoilt -not sure which haha

Mine used to only adore yellow peppers however Kevin has seemed to become partial to green now that Herbert has his paws under the table. I found all the yellow peppers at the bottom of their bowl today! Piggie tastes change I guess ;)

Can they really eat peppers everyday?how about herbs and strawberry leaves, every day?

They can have peppers daily and one of my staples in the veg bowl along with cucumber and celery. They can have herbs but only one you can really use daily is coriander and they are allowed a sprig each a day, others like parsley, dill, basil, mint etc can be give once or twice a week. Strawberry leaves like raspberry and blackberry I would use as a treat.

Oh really ops mine have had a lot of basil and parsley today . Ok will reduce everything . Does it give them tummy ache ?

its high in calcium so should only be fed sparingly, coriander can be fed daily though a sprig each :)

I didnt think they could either....my boys love red, green, orange and yellow :)

I don't think the odd seed will hurt them and I know people who do throw them in whole but I like to air on side of caution and I deseed mine before chopping. They have chisel like teeth to eat the rest but if they choked (fairly unlikely) I wouldn't forgive myself so I remove as many as I can, odd one slips the net no doubt.
