Today one of my guinea pigs popcorned too high and bumped his head against a set of drawers. After he done this he waddled 2 steps in front of himself then fell too the floor. I panicked and scooped him up checking his head and body, there was no visible injuries. 5 minutes later he seemed back to normal. Eating and drinking and wheeking for food as usual. Although I’m still concerned, as now seems to be slightly less active. This could be due to him running around or a potential head injury. Is there anything I should be looking for or any advice on what I can do to double check he’s alright?

Keep an eye on him but I would consider getting him to the vet this week. Was he roaming when he hit his head? Perhaps make sure he can’t get underneath, if that’s where he was.

Thank you so much for replying Yeah, he was roaming around. fortunately I woke up this morning to him being back to normal and running around. In future I’ll make sure there’s less objects in his path for when he runs about.
