All the best for you and Hannah.

She looks lovely BTW even with the bump.:))

However, the practice have accepted that the precedures that were carried out by the vet who operated were not as they should have been and we are being given some help. Not financially though. I am in the process of saving for a new hucth for Hannah and her babies as she is living in a 3ft hutch indoors at the moment because we have some very sick piggies in the quarantine hutches outdoors at present.

Sorry this has happened. If you are not happy with the resolution you could make a formal complaint to the RCVS. It is complicated and they cannot force the vet to remberse you but this is a serious matter and you may want to take it further. This link gives more info.

Hope that everything turns out for you and the pigs.

It's shocking that the vet DID NOT do the operation properly.......wonder how many, this vet has mucked up..........You should have all your vet bills paid for all the pregnancies and boars..........

Poor Hannah, she is HUGE. Sending vibes for a safe delivery x

They have taken full responsibilty as there was a piece pf epidermis left which would have been holding the sperm.

I think you mean part of the epidiyimis (where sperm matures) epidermis is skin :)
Sorry but you made me smile :)) Am also sorry you're in this postion but glad they've acknowledged responsibility & omg she is huge, hope the delivery goes well :)

Thanks Sue. You can tell who the daddy is. There's certainly no doubt that it's Scooby. They are brown and black abby cross. I will take a picture when they are all dry and fluffy.
