Where did it go?

I think maybe this member could just start a thread whereby she apologises and tries to explain her reasons, No one would jump down her throat as she would be apologising. She did say sorry in the chat box but it might mean more on a thread for all to see. :)

I was also half way through reading the thread when it disappeared. The websites had already been deleted when I tried to access them.

I was utterly confused by the thread and could not understand why someone was looking to set up a rescue when they didn't seem to know the basics. I understand that she wanted to help but she would have been no help to any animals given her lack of knowledge. If she had accepted the advice given and said she was going to do thorough research and become more experienced first all would have been fine, but the advice was ignored.

I do not think anyone was judgemental and well done to all of those who posted hopefully she will rethink her plans.

I am currently in a situation myself where someone is ignoring my advice about their rabbit and the poor wee thing is in awful conditions. People do need to be made aware otherwise nothing will change and that is all the poster's were trying to do.

I tend to stay out of threads like this and in fact anything controversial as I feel life is too short ,however I feel I have to speak in relation to this.

It was understandable that people were emotional however what I found deeply upsetting was the comments relating to the spelling and structure of the person in questions posts. I work with a number of people with communication difficulties and it is important to keep in mind that people may not always be able to communicate in a way that is clear to understand.

Numerous comments were made about this and I feel a number of them were less than tactful. If someone is not being honest that is one thing but I do think that it is worthwhile keeping in mind that there may be users who do not have English as a first language or that who find writing challenging.

I think as the thread has now been closed, any some are commenting without reading it all and having seen all the links, this thread should now be closed. It is going round in circles and achieving nothing. Could this be closed please now? x

I think she was making so many mistakes on purpose. As some of her posts after she was rumbled were perfect in grammar and spelling.

That may be the case however comments on peoples ability to write and spell are still lacking in tact and thought.

I think this thread has run it's course now so I am going to lock it now. Please pm me or another mod if you have any queries.
