Bile Drain
Thank you to all for the lovely replies...
UPDATE
Just got back once again from the Treliske Hospital, had the bile drain tube removed as planned - oooh that was horrible! It's a normal catheter that they put into my stomach through my skin so I can't even describe the icky feeling when he pulled it out after deflating the balloon, hurt a little bit but it was just a really weird, icky feeling, really!
Anyway, it's out now so they put a small stoma bag (kind of) over the open wound/ hole in my skin so until the stomach heals, all that wont go on my skin at least and it can be emptied when needed.
Still very sore though! They also changed the dressings on the pressure sores on my back that I acquired in intensive care and adjusted my Warfarin dosage.
I should have a district nurse coming over on Friday to look at the dressings and take more blood from me and the hospital is trying to sort me out with an anti-pressure air mattress as well...
Still getting pain from that clot though,
Hope everyone else has been well x>>
