Which Nuggets Do Your Guinea Pigs Like?

I feed all my guineas and the rescues on Harringtons but I have had a few donations of burgess which the guineas never seem to turn their noses up. So when burgess is on special I do buy a couple of bags to give as treats and I can collect the bar codes too for the rescue to claim free bags :)

@Stewybus it is a while back now (June) but I remember finding the Burgess blackcurrant ones online on VetUK worked out cheaper than buying a 10kg bag of the mint ones.

Thanks I bought my current batch from vet UK in 2Kg bag when they were on a very low price deal price last year. I think I got 9 bags for under £30 inc postage. Now I'm running a rescue I can get wholesale supplies so I'm checking bulk supplies as I've only got 2 bags left & with the extra piggies to feed I'm going through 2 bags a month at present. I'll have to look at 10Kg bags, I didn't know they did them in Blackcurrant & Oregano

My guys eat pets at home pellets, as we rehomed them from there and that's what they had been on... I'm trying to convert them to burgess mint as I read on here that it's much better, so I mixed the two kinds but my guys r resisting the change... Time to step up the mix and cut down the pets at home.. Although now u mentioned vitacraft that sounds good... I just want the best for them

The thing is, the Burgess, PAH and Asda (Asda nuggets having been analysed by someone on here who found they are almost identical to the Burgess mint ones but cheaper price) nuggets are cheaper than Vitacraft nuggets. .

Reading through this thread I am just wondering if anyone has switched from the Burgess ones to the Asda ones recently? My boys have always had Burgess with no problems, but the cost saving is too good to ignore (as I could use that to buy nicer hay for example) if the product is virtually the same. Did read the other thread too.
If anyone has any reasons why it wouldnt be a good idea it would be great to know - cheers!
