Hello!
I recently saw that some of my boar's poop has white, "fluffy" stuff on it. Is it mold, something serious?
Please help

How often do you spot clean? And are your piggies indoors or out? If the poop hasn't been cleaned up for many days and the air is damp it could quite easily be mold in which case I would urge you to clean up the dirty areas more often. Many members poop patrol once or twice daily, for me that's a would be nice but I often forget cos my brains not working well at the moment. However it does need to be done more regularly than once a week

Indoors. Now that i think of it, i couldn't really clean the cage recently. so it may be mold. I usually do it once a week and pick out the super dirty spots 2-3 times a week

I'm just new to guinea pigs, mine isn't with me long, i know it's bad to have them alone but it's better for him than squeezing in a glass container full of pigs in a pet shop. Adopting is better but we have a cat and they wouldn't let us. I spend a lot of time with him. I just didin't know their poop could get moldy

Please cage clean twice weekly.

And if you can, please get him a same sex friend. Round the clock company IS really important! A 2x4 ft cage accommodates two piggies.

yeah

we have so much space we fit a 70 long 40 wide cage only ;-;

Sounds like mold, just try and spot clean more regular a poo pich every other day will stop it from happening again.

IF you are getting another piggy your cage needs to be 120cm long

Welcome to the forum by the way, be lovely to see a photo of your piggy

I'm really sorry

but there is not enough space....

we can't really return him

Piggies really need a friend. It is better to have two pigs in a smaller space then your pig not having a friend. As far as a cage, if space is the issue you can get really creative. You can build lofts on to c and c cage or make them double decker. I have a midwest cage that is the recommended size and I have it set up nicely on a table with storage underneath. It doesn't take up a lot of space. You will notice a HUGE difference in your piggie if you get a bigger cage and a friend.

We dont have space for 2 cages, and they will be unhappy in a 70cm long 40cm Wide (all we fit)

I agree with everyone else, a friend is a piggy need!
You can make a CC cage with a loft on top, the loft can be fairly large.
Here's a photo of a CC cage with a loft on Google. The
lofts are fairly easy to make.

i really.... we can't move out (not enough money), we can't do anything to the cage because it barely fits where it is... ghhhhh

Your piggy really needs a friend, you don't speak there language. You really need to work this out, is it possible to go up rather than length wise?
Do you have a play pen made out of net or wire then put the open cage inside, so they have a run & a bed time cage.
Leave the cage in the run at all times so they have plenty of eating hay, & boxed laying hay. Do you keep them covered so the cat can't get them.
Let us know how your getting on, send us picture of the cage & your piggie. We love photos of piggies. :))
Welcome to our friendly forum.

The cat is scared of him. The Cage wouldn't be Able to go long and Wide, because its against my bed and a closet ¦CT c is the Cage and t is how its placed to the things. Same with the line. So we cannot fit anything Quite bigger

As @Tiamolly123 mentioned above, is it possible for you to get a tiered cage if you can’t go longer or wider? I’ve attached a picture from Google to show you an example. Obviously you would need something to cover the tops so as not to risk the cat getting hold of the piggy.

What about one of these from eBay or amazon, they make a great flexible home and have zipped top and waterproof base, they come in various sizes and they can be squished into tight spaces being canvas, could you squeeze in one of these?

also its FABRIC, FABRIC gets wet and to the point its stuck, FABRIC is bad for piggies

Fabric in general is not bad for guinea pigs? I'm confused. The pen @Bill & Ted suggested can not harm the guinea pigs.
Plus with its waterproof base it getting wet wouldn't be an issue. And normally, there is a puppy pad then fleece on top for bedding, although some people use paper based bedding or hay. All work. I also wouldnt be to quick to shoot down their suggestion since it seems you are having problems with space, and this flexible pen would probably work great.

Please listen to what people are saying regarding cages. They just want the best for your piggy. Your current one is far too small. It's not fair to keep a pig in unsuitable accommodation just because you don't have space for a bigger cage. They do also need a friend. If you can't give your piggy what it needs the kindest thing to do would be to rehome it to someone who can.

but you dont understand... if we have a bigger cage, the closet wont open. its just too little of space... i want to work up but i dont know how

like there is 10cm free space max if i moved the feeder

Can you place a bigger cage in any of your other rooms? Bathroom, hallway, living room? What about on a table or work surface, or make a deep shelf?

We do understand. People are trying to make suggestions to help. However if you can't make space in that room or another, bottom line they can't be kept in a cage that small. It's unfair.

we have no living room. Living room=grandparents room and they dont wanna live with smelly messy piggy
Bathroom is small. nono

My great grands room=she wont let it and its small too and she would overfeed
like all rooms are small or occupied
