AWW Bless she' popcorned! That's brilliant.

Hope whatever it is is gone after the baytril. It may help you that if she stays well was ears and if she is poorly again was teeth?

Did Vedra check her teeth last time you were there? I know you had a seisure but maybe ring her to check if you aren't sure?

I am pretty sure she checked her teeth as i think she does it as routine, and if it was teeth i think she would still has as much trouble eating on the metacam and they could find no sores or lesions when they looked in her mouth so hopefully the anti inflammatory and antibiotics will sort the ear out.

she is also very tender behind her right ear and won't let you touch it, but will let you touch anywhere else on her jawline.

CCT Phone consult

I have just phoned the cct and spoken with vedra and she checked her teeth and they were absolutely fine when she saw her and it is good that she is now eating hay again and suggests her teeth might still be ok

She thinks it is unlikely to be an ear infection as they generally have an foul odour associated with them and furby to me smells just like guinea pig. But I have been told to keep her on what the vet suggests and to go buy some cat ear antiseptic drops and to do them as well. She said it could well be a sore throat which can take 4 to 6 weeks to calm down again. She was happy that she was managing to keep her weight on an even keel.

If she is not right in 14 days then we will need to go back to the CCT for another consult - bf hates driving me all the way home not sure the piggies appreciate everything we poor slaves put ourselves through for them!

She did not really enjoy the ear drops lets hope they do something fingers crossed!

Which ear drops are they?

Big hugs for you and Furby, I hope she's back to normal soon!
