Will rescues rehome further afield?

When we first went to a rescue to enquire about adopting piggies it was over 1 ½ hours drive, knowing a home check was not practical we went prepared with as much information as possible, pictures of our set-ups, our piggies and even a letter from our vets. Joanne at Hutches quickly put us at ease, but asked some probing questions, even had us handling piggies. Rescue people know people they can tell pretty quick what you're like... You’ll have no problems you're piggie through and through... xx

Haha its funny how things work out. Anna from wheak and squeak sent me a message this evening saying she should have 3 boys available to try to bond to my girls in about 3 weeks. If that is so i will try wheek and squeak first as its just half an hour down the road ...and if not then go further afield...but i am keeping my options open and Honor and Haven xould be difficult to pair lol...knowing my luck they will be :-P

got 2 emails from the potteries today, 1st one saying thanks for your email- please look at our adoption policy etc, then an hour later from another person at the potteries saying i am too far away. So thats fine, at the moment at least i am in contact with Wheek and squeak and Walsall RSPCA.
