Ours is Vetcare on Ladies Lane, although none of the pigs have actually been there. They've only been to our old vet, Companion Care at Middlebrook.

We changed as our kitten's spay had to be done there as we got her from a rescue and they had a deal just with that chain of Vets. They were so lovely and good with her, we moved all our zoo there too though

Thinking of you and Willow, it must be so hard for you. It is so dreadful that something like this can happen. That someone thinks they can just take a persons baby. There really are some horrible people out there. I will definitely be getting padlocks on the hutch when I move the boys back out in the spring - I didn't do that this year because you just don't think that kind of thing is necessary.

Did you speak to the police about her? What did they say?

I really hope she turns up so you can get her back where she belongs.
 
I have just seen this thread. I am so so sorry for you. She is a stunning little girl, you must be out of your mind with worry. I cannot imagine what you are going through. All I can say is that my thoughts and prayers are with you all and I hope that you find her very soon. xxxxxxxx

I'm really sorry that you've lost Willow. I would get in touch with local vets, rescues & the police. It may have just been a prank & she may have been set free. I would also ring my local radio station & newspaper. They may find this an interesting story and you could get some helpful publicity. If someone has just stolen her to have as a pet, they may have a conscience & return her. I just couldn't imagine how I would feel, to me it's on par with having a child abducted!
 
I'll upload a photo of her to my Facebook tomorrow too if its okay with you.. I know piggie mad people from all over the UK so with a bit of luck it may help in finding her.

Have you made ads on websites such as preloved stating that she's been stolen with your details too?

We all want to help as much as we can to ensure Willow returns home safely. Please keep us updated x
 
It is worthwhile reporting the "theft" to the police to get it on the record.

We had a case down south recently where the piggie was thankfully found alive and well during an unconnected police raid and because the theft had been reported to the police the piggie was then reunited with the owner.

Oh I'm so sorry, I did see the link on facebook. I just cannot imagine why people would do this, my god its not like they're expensive to buy!:hb:

this is awful. i would be so devastated if any of my pets were taken. i really hope you get her back safe and well. x
 
Ooh, so sorry. I had a nightmare once that I came upstairs and caught a man stuffing my pigs in a sack with a load of other animals. Eek.

On the brighter side, Willow at least has had a lovely time with you I'm sure. Xx
