Worried about piggies!

I’ve never seen Donald do so many zoomies, Mickey is looking in disbelief! He’s not stopped eating and I weighed him this morning and he’s now 765g, he was down to 725 a few days ago so I’m really pleased. Just done Mickeys weekly weigh in and he’s topping the scales at 965g! But he’s much longer and wider than Donald so I’m hoping he’s not getting a little tubby! I can’t deacribe how pleased I am that little Donald is back to being his normal self.
I had one question... the vet didn’t say how long to continue with the antibiotics for. We started these on Monday, twice daily. I think I will call them today and check as I don’t want to stop too soon but then again I don’t want to medicating unnecessarily.

This forum has been an absolute godsend for me over these last few days. So lovely to have people who totally understand how you’re feeling and such expert advice. Thanks again 😍😍

I'm so pleased for you, and happy he's back to his normal self. I would phone the vet regarding the antibiotics, best to hear it from them as they prescribed it. 💙😍

Just caught up with this thread.
glad to hear Donald is improving and more or less back to his old self, it's lovely to see them happy again after they've been poorly. Well done to you too, it's physically emotionally training isn't it?! :(
I don't think any of my girls have like critical care, but two of my girls have been fed supreme recovery food and Grace used to nearly snatch the spoon away or squish her head in the egg cup I mixed it in to get at it! x x

Yes it’s awful... I felt so helpless but it’s so rewarding when they start to pick up and gain weight. I didn’t sleep great for about 3 nights as I was in the living room with them just to make sure he was ok. Donald is so affectionate too... he loves cuddles and will just fall asleep on me. When he was poorly he just couldn’t settle and was whimpering really badly. At least I now realise how quickly they can get ill and just exactly what I need to do!
