Poor thing! I hope she adapts quickly and it all heals up fast. It looks very sore.

poor little Wotsit..good job she is in the best place to get all the help she needs! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wotsits reminds me of my Pippi, there's something about red heads, but they always look like tough nuts taking it all in their stride. I am sure she will adjust well, but I still do feel very sorry she had to go through it...as you do with any creature. Heal well little one, my guineas and I think you are very brave and cute as ever!

poor little wotsit. glad she got through the op and will be ok.

i always look at her on the website, she is so cute! x)

aww poor thing and she's so cute i just want to give her a cuddle and kiss. Aww thats really pulled my heart strings. Hope she fully recovers soon. Its so sad x

Here is hoping that she makes a swift recovery and finds a truly special home!

Oh my God, she looks exactly the same as my Indie and has the exact same injury as her (except it's the opposite eye)!

I went to give my piggies their breakfast in November and found Indie with a very poorly eye. She had it removed but unfortunately, I have been struggling with the wound ever since. It keeps getting infected and she had to have another operation shortly after the first one to clean and restitch.

However, you would never believe that she has been through the trauma that she has and at the moment the vet has given me a supply of antibiotics so I can give her a course whenever its needed.

Its currently been 4 days since she finished her last lot of drugs and so far (touch wood!) her eye is perfect!

I hope Wotsit has a speedy recovery, it really is amazing how easily they get around with just one eye!

oh the poor little love! She is still beautiful and I'm sure it won't affect her re-homing. If I had the room and was looking for another I wouldn't think twice about adopting her she is so cute x)

Oh how adorable, poor lady I hope she continues to recover to her normal self.

My piggy didn't lose an eye, but she did lose th sight in one. We didn't notice at all in terms of her behaviour, I'm sure she'll adjust :)

Poor Wotsit I really feel for her. Both people and piggy's can do rather well wit one eye. I have had eye operations two times and been legally blind on RH and LH side at different times of my life. You cope things just go on.

HI all

I was very lucky to meet Wotsit along with all Hels other gorgeous piggles on Monday night :(|)

Wotsits eye looks much better than in the pics and she is an aboslutely gorgeous little girl and seems to be doing well :)

I didn't have enough hands to carry them all away {:|

I'm so glad that Wotsit is recovering well from her injury.

Sorry everyone I have been very negligent in not keeping you updated about this little lady. She had her eye removed as you are aware and all went well.

I took her back for stitches out and unfortunately the wound re-opened. It was then stapled and the staples came out the day before I went on holiday.

She has found a forever home with a member on this forum and suffice to say she will have a fantastic future ahead of her now.

I will do a little update photo wise on the photos and stories for you. So will direct you to that.

Helen.
