I have 1 photo . . Which is absolute beautiful. ..
Like yourself I deeply miss my rainbow piggies.
I had a piggie Cocoa who had cancer and was nearing the end. . . She was so powerful and brave. . Before pts came her best mate and top piggie Heidi spent all night by her side. . Cleaned her kissed her and they talked and squeaks and nattered. . I took a photo that shows the LOVE they had between them.. . To be honest I was a intruder but they let me watch . . at 5am Cocoa died and 7am Heidi let me take her body away.. that picture is massive in my heart. When I'm brave I will post it.
I have tears now. . .
Other than that we have 100s great photos. Lol. x

This is such a sweet thread @Bradshaw Piggies 😊. I'm so sorry for your loss, it must be so so hard when you care about all your piggies as much as you do ❤️

This is my favourite picture. I love it because it's so cute but is funny too because the only reason Eddie climbed onto my leg was because I was feeding Elvis a treat after he'd taken his antibiotics and Eddie felt he was missing out 😂😂. Elvis looking down at Eddie is funny too 😂. It also makes me happy because it reminds me of when Elvis had his abscess and I'm happy he's healthy again now.
Sorry to blather- I just love the story this picture tells.

So sorry to hear about your girl 😔 I’m so glad everyone on here understands how hard it is. What a lovely memory though, and lovely picture ❤️❤️

I feel your pain. I’m so sorry for your loss of the lovely Odin, you went through so much with him it’s no wonder you feel lost without him xx
It took me a long while to heal after I lost my first boar, Spike. To a sudden onset of bloat. It was awful, he died having a seizure on my lap on the way back to the vets. I’ll never forget it. I cried myself to sleep for many weeks.
But I did eventually heal, And then I got Patrick as I didn’t want the girls to be without a husboar for too long. But I must admit, it took me a few weeks to really love him as everytime I looked at him I felt guilt and anger about Spike. But of course he soon won me over and Patrick was the best and funniest pig. I talked about him and his girls all the time, I loved him dearly.. And then a few weeks ago, I lost him, bloat complications too. Absolutely heartbroken. So I really do understand your utter heart shattering pain. I feel I am able to accept Patrick’s death a bit more As I made the decision to let him go, and to be able to say goodbye peacefully before he got much worse makes such a huge difference to my heart. But I still cried for many days, and I miss him more than anyone knows. I wish he was still here, it’s not the same without him. But we will get there, we have to.

So hard to choose a fav photo! I have so many that make my heart melt! But I’ve chosen a photo of Patrick and his girls as a group photo is always special :luv:

He was a cute, unusual fluff ball who lived alone in a bird cage before I rescued him.

I'm so sorry to hear that story Hannah, and for the loss of your gorgeous boy. At least our little guys know how loved they are! Thank you for your kind words and the lovely photos! I think I'll feel Odin's loss for the rest of my life, but I try so hard to focus on the happy memories that I have with him and how much light he brought to my life (even in the difficult times). Love the photos, you definitely can't leave Spike out, he's too gorgeous! :love:

Thank you. The pain of loss never goes away entirely but we live with it and continue to share the love with their successors. The rawness you still feel is natural but will, in time, ease :hug:

Rusty who loves his pillows. Peanut, the brown one no one wanted! Willow who we lost too soon. Bracken who broke my heart and Nugget who I don't seem to have pigtures of on his own.
