Teenage Guinea Pig
Where are your favourites from?

Aye - me too.I make my own, so they are exactly the size and shape I want (well usually!).
I made the beige and red doggy one tooI have two from the lovely @Bill & Ted plus three more I have no idea the origin of, they were given to me.
How often do you wash them and do you have paper or puppy pads under them?Mine have noodle bath mats - either Ikea or Tesco.
They stay soft, wash well, and dry really quickly - the boys seem to like them![]()
I use pets at home puppy training pads underneath (100 for £14.99). They get changed out as often as needed (some weekly, others daily!). I totally change out the mats every week - a good shake outside and then a hot wash with vinegar and they're good as new! I have three sets so rotate them round, I probably replace each set every 6 months or so (mostly because I get bored of the colours!)How often do you wash them and do you have paper or puppy pads under them?
I use bath mats too came across this idea from Masons Cavies and never turned back they use allure brand chenille **link removed by moderator** and i love them, so easy to keep clean and re-usingI use bath mats and vet bed currently but Lola doesn’t seem to sleep on the bath mats. They like vet bed but it’s a bit of a pain so I wondered if fleece pads might be worth a try![]()
Another vote for noodle mats over plain fleece fabric ( doubled over) on top of B&M puppy pads. I find the areas under the noddle mats rarely get wet so the puppy pads last much longer, thankfully, as I don't like the idea of plastic waste. The mats make it so easy to do my daily clean, I just shake them into the bin.Noodle bath mats from B&M or Home Bargains over B&M puppy pads are my first choice. While I’ve been running the maternity wing from the school rescue I’ve had to use a variety of floor coverings. I’ve got much vet fleece for my 140 cage. I love how quickly it dries but getting the hay off is a pain. I also use simple fleece blankets/throws folded to size over puppy pads. They also dry quickly but the hay can stick to some of them.
