Anya's Abcess Has Come Back?

@TheLottiediarys you really would be best off taking your piggy to see Simon Maddock at the Cat & Rabbit Clinic in Northampton. The sooner the better. He is an expert with abscesses & has removed them from a few of my piggies in the past. I know it's not the closest vets to you but he really is the best piggy vet to deal with this sort of thing. It could be false economy to spend further money at vets that don't have the same experience than Simon in dealing with these sort of things, when ultimately you will probably eventually need to see Simon anyway if the treatment from your current vets doesn't work.

To be honest the first antibiotics they gave me which was Baytril was unlikely to get rid of the abcess so i don't know if this aggressive or more likely poorly treated in the first place?

How do they embedd the bead?
She can't have any kind of surgery because the lack of vit C makes it hard for her to recover?

How do they embedd the bead?

Never seen it done but my vet said it was a simple procidea, not disimla to implanting a tracking chip
