New Born Pup
Hello everyone!
I have two guinea pigs: Odin (3y/o Rex, intact boar) and Woezel (2y/o Teddie, rescued intact boar). Odin has always been rather fidgety and impatient during lap time, while the other piggies that I've owned in the past were all very calm. He became calmer as he got older, but he keeps biting for no reason. He doesn't bite very hard, it's more like pinching. He's enjoying his cuddles and purring, the next minute he bites me. My sister has a good bond with my piggies too, and he never bites her - only me. I've noticed that he warns us when he has to pee, but he already threatens with biting after only 5 minutes. When my sister has him, he can stay for 20 minutes or so - and if he has to pee he'll threaten her but he never truly bites!
I always put him back in his cage when he has bitten me several times, because lap time would be very short if I'd put him back after the first time... He had mites in the past, but that issue has been resolved. I would very much appreciate any help, tips, or tricks!
Thanks so much!
