blood on bedding, please help

i found one dried blood spot on my guinea pigs’ bedding a couple of days ago, but haven’t noticed anything similar since
also, 2 days ago donna was straining to poop (though this might’ve been due to too many carrots) and squeaking in pain, but that stopped too the next day
and this morning & yesterday night i heard periodic low squeaks—a couple with long intervals between—that sounded sort of painful
donna also seems to be drinking more water, but they’re both moving around fine and their weights have stayed the same after a week.

are there any more signs to check for for a UTI? or are these not related?
 
after learning a bit more about urine, i'm not sure if it was blood, but it looked like a dried light-red spot.
