This thread inspired me to make another snuggle sack so I made an extra big one for my 4!

But I digress XD Yes I'm looking for cheap ones but they're all quite expensive.
 
Do you have to use a fabric other than fleece on the outside? I only have fleece of the one colour.
 
I asked my mum to get more fleece on Monday,because it's on sale. I will have to do one colour for this batch(don't know how many I can get from 2 fleece blankets,it's quite big)
 
Yea I got some from fleece from Primark that I'm gunna make more sacks out of at some point, and some lap pads. But I need to get some upholstery foam for the cuddle cups.
 
I'm not going to get any batting,I'm just going to use fleece on it's own if I can.
 
I did that for my first sacks, much easier without the wadding I must say. It gets quite thick to work with and if you use a sewing machine it gets all caught up with the wadding lol. But it does look way more cozy for the piggies now so I'm glad they have options aha.
 
I would like to use batting but I don't have any I'm going to have a look for some wire to keep it open at the front.
 
Yea the wire really helps, my girls always sit on their sacks and can't get in again lol I'll be giving them this new one today! I use the boning from a haberdashery and it was like 80p per meter lol.
 
That's quite good. the wire That I'm hoping to use is the wire used for a fence,it's very strong. I hope I can find it now.
 
Idk what kind of wire but it might be best to "wrap" the wire in something first. Just in case it pokes through the fleece :)

Would love to see a pic once it's done! Your piggies will love it :)
 
I will do I have to clean cages first,then I will start to make a few.
 
It looks lovely! They'll love that for snuggling down in :) I need to make a water bottle pad too but... I forgot lol. I'm just cleaning my cage out and then bathing them and THEN introducing them to their new sacks haha I have a lot to do rn.
