A single sachet of Recovery needs 70ml of warm water. Unless it's Recovery Plus it won't have the right level of Vit C so a you'll need to supplement if she's not eating Vit C veg.

Good luck, my fingers are crossed for you and Doris.

I have a massive bag of critical care. It instructs 3 tablespoons of mixture per kg. She's 1003g. So would it be 3 tablespoons with 70ml water?

She has just bitten me really bad. I have never been bitten by a guinea pig like this and it wont stop bleedng. Do you think this is an extra sign she's unwell? I was holding a moistened pellet to her which she took a chunk of then she went for my thumb. That or she was a bit disorientated..?

Critical Care - 1 part CC:2 parts water.

Biting can show pain, but when eating too it could be a mistake. Normally pellets are hard and take a lot of force to bit through, the taste of the softened one may have triggered her to bite hard purely from habit.

How do you know the difference between 'the time' and illness?
I tried putting a saucer next to her with critical care. She took a couple bites then tried to walk off and flomped.
