Hi all,

So after watching a YouTube tutorial I jumped in a sewed my own cage liner. It was only afterwards I realised I haven’t used fleece! I know I know….

What I used was a throw from B and M that is 100% polyester. It’s incredibly soft but will it wick? I’m washing it now in the hope it can be used. I’ve attached a pic of the throw so you can see.
Please advise

Ideally you need anti-pil polyester fleece. That wicks really well. If your fleece is not a success (do try it) you can always buy a large piece and place it over the one you made. It usually comes at 150 cm width and is quite reainably priced

Thanks. Yeah I did think I’ll just have to buy a piece of the proper stuff to sew on top perhaps.

You could sew it on or just place it over the top, it’s easier to wash that way, not too bulky
