Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what other DIY toys people make for there pigs...
Pig toys from pet shops, even Ebay can cost a fortune, and even the best pig toys around don't last that long with my pigs, there chewed within a inch of life within a day or two......
My pigs like the usual "Veg Kebabs", "Cardboard box Cottages"(stitched together with natural string), "Loafer slices on string", and lots of wooden baby toys stuffed with hay, veg etc.
Does anybody have any other things they make for there pigs?......

On behalf of my piggies, Dexter and Morgan, Thank you.......

I buy paper take away bags from eBay, cut the handles off and stuff with hay, pellets and veggies. My rabbits and my guineas love playing in them.Makes a mess of the fleece but well worth it.I stand them upright and it entertains them trying to knock them down. Some people string loo roll tubes together with hay in as well.

Her piggies are lovely, Its great to see them looked after so well and kept entertained.
My piggies like veg hanging from the cage, It makes them work for there food a bit, hours of fun.

I like the idea of the takeaway bags stuffed with foods. I tried a sock stuffed with hay and they enjoyed that (until they chewed the sock and I had to take it out). Defiantly going to give it a go.

I found another DIY piggy toy. I made a "wooden curtain" for them to run through with bells on the end of it. They got really giddy running back and forth through it. Really cheap and simple toy too.
A.x
