Since they don't know how to use the ramp (I'm waiting on my pay check for this month and I'll buy a proper one with sides) I have moved the pen away from the case and I am placing them in it for a run around during the day. Ripple keeps sticking his head through the squares in the sides and I am worried about him escaping. Do you think he would be able to get his whole body through? Ripple is the short haired piggy closest to the camera on second pic.20180815_180230.webp20180815_180230.webp20180815_180645(0).webp

That was my fear! I have actually bought baby bars for my c&c cage because I was so worried about it! Piggies under six months old have been known to get through the bars.
Do you have some cardboard you can put around the edge?

A bigger worry than getting through completely might be him getting stuck halfway and hurting himself if he panics... no idea if that could happen as our piggies are all quite big but it might be a good idea to add some cardboard!

he might get hurt real bad in the middle of the night you should put the cardboard around the cage and how do you get his head back in?

He seems to realise it's not a good idea and pulling his bed back through. I have put blankets over where he kept trying and he stopped. I will try putting cardboard around the edges! They aren't going to be sleeping in their I will put them back in their cage :)

I think my worrying was over nothing! They were in the pen for over 4 hours and no escapees, I fed them (spinach and kale, hay and water) in there and they seemed happy. I think they enjoyed being able to run around and pop (as well as poop) all over the place!
