Eye infection or injury

This morning I discovered that my Guinea Patsy has a discoloured eye with pink fleshy surrounding.

Can somebody advise me what this is?

I've had many guinea pigs and have never seen anything like this either.

That eye looks really sore. Can you see anything in it, like a piece of hay?
As @Siikibam said, you should make a vet appointment as soon as possible
