Ah yes Rodney is a silver agouti Rex - actually if I snuggle up to him I get a little rash on my face but don't with Billy, must be the rexiness ;) wonderful hair tho! Everyone falls in love with him he's a special little man x
 
Glad he's doing so well, these abscess's aren't fun Fred's very swollen and I predict there maybe something in it but I just can't anything to come out :(. X
 
Oh dear, what have they told you to do ref flushing? It's perhaps refilling, some refill again before finally going don't they...

I think Manuka Honey helped Rodney, it's very healing & has anti bacterial qualities. Maybe when you take him back next week they can get a bit more out. Rodney's vet really did literally scrape the hell out of his..
 
Still doin well! So well I'm havin sunday snuggles in the big bed.... I am smug because Billy is too naughty for bed snuggles.... ;)

Little op Wednesday, today is Sunday and Rodney's scab has fell off! So I no longer have a Hole to keep open, just a raw piece of skin to heal up.

Don't ask me how he managed that! But it was there this morning & gone tonight. It has been looking like it was going to come apart for a couple of days...

So, so glad for you and little man Rodney that it all seems to be clearing up :)) It must be such a weight lifted from your shoulders. Fingers crossed this will be the end of the road for all the horribleness x
 
I am really thanking my lucky stars because I only went through this with his brother last July and I lost him. After everything we have been through together & finding Rodney a new friend Billy - I couldn't bare to lose him!

He has pretty much completely healed. And is on no medicines now... it is LOVELY to not have to deal with it anymore! Hopefully it was a total one off and will never come back. His teeth are great, so it must have been a sharp piece of hay or something...

He is my little superpig! :)
 
So glad he is well again. Really hoping Flintstone's Fred and Funnemare's Fudge can recover form their abscess's equally as quickly.
