Adult Guinea Pig
Mines are fussy. I bought their veg today (which is the same as what i usually buy)
I got baby kale (but i dont give them it everyday because of the amount of calcium and i'm overly paranoid about sludge and stones because one of my piggies had to get surgery 2ce for them), a bag of mixed salad for Luna (it gives coco diarrhea), celery, cucumber, green, red and yellow peppers, flat and curly parsley, romaine and little gem lettuce.
& sometimes I get spring greens or spinach instead of kale
this lasts a week and i just give them a piece of something everytime i come up the stairs rather than give them a bowl (I think they eat more this way & aren't so selective)
They hate: carrot now, watercress, rocket leaves, dill, corriander, mint leaves, sweet potato,raddish, they dont really like pepper anymore but I starve them out till they eat it because of the vitamin C lol, corn, asparagus, coco hates all fruit, cabbage, brocolli, cauliflower......to name a few. BRATS! lol

Sounds just like my kids! I guess they are still getting used to not being fed that much fresh stuff so being a bit picky! We were told they loved carrot by the rescue, but they turn their noses up at it here! We were told not to give them lettuce because of diarrhoea? They don't much like spring greens but love broccoli and wolfed down yellow pepper yesterday! I bought some baby corn which they loved. But will they be ok with mange tout/sugarsnap peas? Its all such a learning curve with these little guys x
