Female with bloody genital area

I have a 2 year old female guinea pig who, upon picking up and inspecting, seems to have blood on her private parts. She’s been eating, drinking, and acting normally and doesn’t appear to be in pain, even when I moved her fur to take the pictures. Does anyone know what this could be from or how serious it could be?

Bleeding is not normal. She needs to see a vet for proper diagnosis.

It could be any number of reasons, only a qualified vet will be able to inspect and diagnose your piggy. Guinea pigs are natural prey animals so hide illnesses and pain extremely well so she could well be in discomfort and not showing it yet. Please get her to a vet as soon as is reasonably possible for prompt treatment before any condition gets worse

My mom took her to the vet, and thanks to the photo she was able to deduce that the bleeding (which stopped) was likely from the uterus so she probably has a small uterine tumor. Also her feces was lower in her body than normal which is probably from the tumor pushing down on it. She’s getting spayed tomorrow and since she’s young and super healthy otherwise there’s very little risk. The doctor said it was good we brought her in now as she hasn’t even been bleeding a full day, as the longer it goes unattended to, the weaker the pig becomes. X-rays attached for visual and because they’re cute
