Flattened Mouse Found in Hay

Just wrap up the hay bag and contact the retailer if you have found the mouse in the bag before it has got as as far as the cage. Otherwise deep clean the hay area, put it all in the hay bag and contact the retailer. And of course thoroughly wash your hands.

Hay is a natural product so very occasionally things can end up in it. Any infection risk is comparatively low with a desiccated mouse. :(
