We are thinking of switching to fleece bedding as for us it will be easier to clean and we have enough time to wash it every four days or so etc

However, I have no clue where to buy it (my mum and I are terrible at sewing so that's not really an option). Can you guys help me with where to get it from, where you get your fleece from and how you make sure it's the right size. Also what you guys use for underneath?

Thanks
Lexi

P.s preferably fleece that fits a 2x4 c&c cage and a loft 1x2. Also a 2x3 c&c cage liner/bedding ( this is for my grandparents cage- they have less space in their house and we only stay there 1-2 days max)

I used ziggies piggies too. Multiple times and have never been disappointed. You just tell her the size of your cage liners required i.e. 2x3 C&c. And she is the most reasonable prices I've found.

Stephs piggie paradise is good. I have my liners on lino which is on the table top. I also have mats under ikea dolls beds which they allmlike to lie under.

Thank you so much guys for all the help

Do you just put newspaper underneath the cage liners?

If you get liners with an absorbent core (like the ones from Ziggy's piggies) they don't need anything under them.
I just put them straight on top of the cage floor (in my case correx).

I get mine from either the Range, or Asda's, but if you want it ready made. Try Adelle she's a member here or ziggies.

I dont put any newspaper under mine. They go straight onto the lino. I find that newspaper tends to hold wee.

Thread hijacking, but it’s relevant to what lots of you have said.
We use fleece sandwiches as I call them them. I change them twice a week but the paper underneath is usually soggy in places, although mainly round the edges. Am I doing something wrong?

I use washable incontinence pads under my fleeces. They are absorbent and have a waterproof backing. I’ve bought all of mine from amazon .

Thanks I think from what people of said I don't have to use anything but when it arrives I will try it out and if it doesn't work out I will order some to put underneath
