I took Kylie to my vet as an emergency last night because she was in more pain than usual and I was afraid that the stone could have blocked the urethra. Luckily that hasn't happened. The vet gave her two injections to help with the pain.

This morning we were back for the operation.
It went well but was more complicated than expected because the stone was embedded in the bladder wall. So it took quite long and was a challenge for the vet.

When I came to pick her up, she was her usual grumpy self which I take as a good sign. But of course we have to get through the next days without complications.
If all goes well, the stiches will come out in 10 days.

Dear Freddy, my mini hippo friend or ONF as Kongo @exia likes to say,
an operation is a nasty thing to experience but my slave tells me that it was necessary and that it will make me feel better in a few days.
At the moment, I have got to take lot's of meds but I like syringes. So that's okay.
The cage feels a bit funny because it doesn't have the usual bedding. And Vicky can be annoying when she is laying in the exact spot where I want to be.
But we got some fresh dandelion. And that's the best thing ever.

Why does your slave shut out the sun?
Maybe you should have a talk with Miss Bramble @Betsy ?
