Hi everyone,

I'm
It sure if this has been asked before but I’ve got a question about fleece liners.

My cage currently uses puppy liners and when I clean them out I find the guinea pigs poo in the corner of the cage and the liners always have stains and the poo is always soft and wet.

Anyways, my question is: I’m worried the guinea pig poo with stain the liners and I’ll have to change the liners everyday to stop this happening.

Has everyone had this problem? Did it stain the liners? Or is it the puppy pads aren’t soaking up the wee which is making the poo soggy?

Thank you for any and all help on this.

P.S- I have already ordered my new cage (should be coming in the next 5 days or so) and the liners to go in.

If the liners have a fleece top layer then very little will stain them.
I manage corners (poo sports) by putting an extra (small) pee pad (changed daily) there or adding a hay tray.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I never thought of that so I’ll have to buy some. Thank you for the tip.
