Been to the vets twice they gave me introfungol and antibacterial stuff to give him. None of them have worked. Rang the vets and he don't know what it is he wants to do some tests which is going to cost loads iv already spend 70 pound on the vets and haven't gotten anywhere . Has anyone got any advice on what I can do. I'll put picture in.

That looks bad, poor piggy. Something fungal perhaps. Is your vet experienced with treating guinea pigs? How many treatments did he get of itrafungol? I’m afraid you will have to return him to the vet, there’s nothing you can do at home to treat it. And we don’t support home treatment. I’ll tag @Wiebke @VickiA @PigglePuggle @Piggies&buns

He had 14 days worth of introfungol, but did nothing at all. Is it worth trying a different vet?

Poor piggy!

It looks fungal to me, so I would have expected the itrafungol to work. What was the course and what dosage? To be honest, it is the most effective antifungal medication (other countries than the UK may use corresponding treatments), so your vet is competent.

Unfortunately once the standard treatments don't work, you are very much out there. Lab testing is the next step as otherwise you have to basically find the . :(
