Guinea pigs bum; rectum sticking out?

There’s something sticking out of my piggies’ bum; it looks like his rectum, maybe rectal prolapse? I’m kind of concerned, and on one side of his bum there’s a lump. He can still pop normally but I’m just very worried :(
Anyone experience this?

How do attach a photo because it saying to link the photo but it’s a photo from my phone
 
Are you posting on the forum with your phone? If so click on the "attach files" button then whatever option comes up (mines an android phone so I click the option called "files"). Find the photo and click it and it should upload it

Hi!

This looks more like a prolapsed penis that has not properly retracted? It can occasionally happen but if the penis doesn't go back at all, then the problem can generally fairly easily fixed by a vet. I would check whether a semen rod or a large build-up of smegma around the base of the penis prevent it from retracting fully.

I had the same thoughts long ago! I saw the tip of my guinea pigs penis sticking out and thought it was his bum coming out too 😱
 
UPDATE: I took him to the vet yesterday as the day before we noticed a large lump on his stomach. They did an Xray and referred me to our Province's teaching hospital for animals as they had more resources and she felt it was an emergency. They did an ultrasound there and they thought he had testicular torsion, said they would do surgery to remove the testicle and everything should be okay. Turns out when they began surgery they noticed two normal testes, and what was causing the problem was 2 swollen sex glands wrapped around his ureters (so he was not peeing). He went into cardiac arrest during the surgery, the surgeon called me, and I told her to let him go.
I am very sad but I am happy that he is not in pain anymore. </3
 
So sorry for your loss. Your piggy is now out of pain and living in Rainbow World.
