Hannah’s Herd thread!

How lovely that Oscar is finally sleeping through the night. I’m sure that’s a huge relief to you. Sleep is so vital! He looks such a cutie. So lovely to see him exploring the natural world around him. Your foster galah looks so pretty. I’m sure they think they’re in paradise with a large cage & free roaming time. As for your horses, go easy on yourself - there’s only so many hours and so much energy we have to spend each day. They will still be there when you’re ready to press on again. In the meantime just enjoy them. You certainly have your hands full.

We have a new family member, Sunny the 6yr greyhound. He’s an ex-racing boy. He’s got a lovely calm and placid nature, He’s great with Oscar. And getting along fine with Fergus (our other dog).
Had to teach him not to chase/try and kill the chickens of course. Bit of a worry for the first few days. But he’s learning and doing really well. And of course take extra precautions with the guinea pigs. We keep their door shut (glass so can still always see them) and they also have a baby gate around them.
We’ve only had him 3 weeks. He was very shut down for the first week but has really come out his shell now and settled into his new life here.
