Hi all i have a pregnant guineapig named mrs pig that i got about 9 weeks ago from a breeder i was told she may be pregnant and I'm 100% sure she is as she just got bigger and bigger and now i can see the babies moving around i have had a guineapig have babies when i was a child and everything went smoothly, ive noticed mrs pig has been leaving dark brown tiny spots of blood on her fleece since last night shes happy and eating and moving around dispite her huge tummy just wondering if any one has had any experiance with this the breeder told me she was about 6 months old when i got her 9 weeks ago so shes about ten elevn months. If it gets worse or she seems ill ill be taking her to the vet asap but i would pike to no if anyone has experinced this also I'm in australia thanks ☺

Hi and welcome.
It’s very early here in the 🇬🇧 so some of the replies will come later on in the day.Pregnancy is not my forte so it’s difficult to advise to be honest.
However I would urge you to read the section on pregnancy in the forum where an experienced member has taken time to explain what should happen and any action you would need to take.
I will tag in @Wiebke who is experienced in such matters and will reply as soon as possible but in the meantime doncheck out the section.
Sadly it’s not uncommon for these types of unscrupulous people to sell pregnant pigs or pet show for that matter hence why we are pro rescue here.
I just wanted to give you some support and wish you luck.
