Hi everyone, as some may know, my piggy Bear was diagnosed with lymphoma. He is doing well (besides peeing on himself), i know that i’m very lucky because some decline rapidly. He is on prednisone and i have to give it to him daily. Sometimes he comes up to me to just take medicine, but i think he’s not a fan of the banana flavor of this one. I have to pick him up to give him medicine is basically what i’m saying. My question is, how can i pick him up in a way that doesn’t hurt him, and supports his body? All his lymph nodes are swollen so i wanna be careful when i lift him. He is squirmy though so it’s difficult to scoop him. Thank you :) attached pic of my son ♡

I am not very experienced, but I think supporting him in a snuggle sack or wrapping him in a lightweight pet blanket may help. Sending wishes for comfort. He is a beautiful piggy 🥰

thank you! I think if i can get him to go in a snuggle sack instead of picking him up that would be good. They’re smart though lol they know my plan

Yes, they are expert at reading body language and dodging hands that don't bear food or intend to pet them 🥰
