Is My Cage Big Enough?

Hi everyone,
Within the next week I'll be preparing for the two Guinea pigs I'll be purchasing next week. My mum and I have looked at a few cages on the internet and have found what we believe to be a suitable cage, the dimensions are 102x56x48cm, is this suitable for two sows? Also if anyone has any advice for first time owners, I really need it. Thanks!

That sounds a bit small, for 2 sows you need at least a 120 cm, preferably 140cm length cage. Have you thought of making a C & C cage yourself? They can be made bigger & wider & you can make a lid to keep out other pets

i agree with poppys mum that cage unfortunatley will be to small.zooplus do some good cages at good prices.needs to be 120cm x 60 cm minimum.x

I recently bought this for my new boys. It's big enough for two sows and a real bargain at the current price.

Many pet stores often give bad advice on cage sizes unfortunately.

We love our c and c cage, it's lots easier to clean out too, no banging my head on the cage top

So true! It’s so easy to reach in there and have a cuddle too
