Just Got A New Guinea Pig Friend For My Baby Guinea Pig Which Food Is Best?

I have just adopted a lovely pig called mo mo! She is on pets at home nuggets and my little noodle is on museli from the pet shop I got her from (alternating on two different flavours). Which is best for my piggys?! I'm going to be introducing them on Sunday and hopefully putting them into the same cage so one of them will need to go on to the others food as I can't make sure they won't eat the other ones lol. Any advice would be appreciated!

Nuggets are better to feed than Muesli as it doesn't allow for selective feeding. I would try mixing in some pellets with Noodle's (lovely name) food to switch her over if you can

Yes I was thinking of doing that Thank you, it tells me on the pack of nuggets how to wean them on so I'll start tomorrow doing that.

Just mix half and half, then gradually reduce the muesli down to nothing

Pets At Home nuggets aren't the best, something like Burgess is a little better and goes down well with my boys.

I haven't really got the best range of shops to get recent food from. I've been looking for something better to give them but everyone says different! Please help?

Burgess can be bought from Pets At Home. If you have access to P@H own nuggets, then you probably have access to the other nuggets they sell. Otherwise, they can be bought on Amamzon as we as most shops.

I saw them on the website yes, I should have explained better lol I meant there's not a big selection really. I'll use the bags of food I have then I'll start buying that one
