Meet Edamame 😍

Miss Bramble is still at Aunty Lilli's on an extended holiday as I have come back from my cruise with a terrible cold and feel rotten. It's all I can do to drag myself out of bed. Had a bath this morning and feel much better.
Aw that’s a miserable end to a holiday, I hope you feel better soon 🤗

Got my first nice photo of the two menace piggies together - only doable with a bribe to keep them still for five seconds 😅

Lord Ed & Lady Meg would like their breakfast on TIME, none of this clocks-going-back nonsense

Quite right too your Lordship and your Ladyship! Humans turn the world upside down sometimes, it's really crazy. They still haven't learnt that interfering with the way Nature designed things just makes stuff more complicated and confuses Pigs and people.

Edamame, you're looking very sovereign and even quite formidable this morning! It's hard to imagine Humans daring to do anything you don't agree with. Unfortunately that clock-changing stuff was decided on aaaaages ago though. Now the Humans are so messed up, they can't decide to revert to the old way.

Meg, you look as if you know what you want too! A good partner for Edamame, against the crazy Humans in the wide world beyond your own Humans and their house.

Edamame can be quite formidable when he wants to be - he’s bigger, broader, and full of impressive rumbles. Other times, he runs into the cardboard box for shelter, popcorns, knock it over, and then gets confused where his shelter has gone 😂

Lady Meg is a bossy little lady. She’s allowing in-cage strokes now 🥰 she mostly runs for cover when I catch her napping, but this morning she stayed on the bed as long as I didn’t make eye contact haha

Oh yes, well, Edamame that kind of thing is very confusing! I think that kind of thing only happens to Humans in times of war or natural disasters like earthquakes. Humans don't like those times either. I hope your Slave rescues you by putting your shelter right way up again.

Look at that pretty white circular marking in her fur!

Eddie says he made sure the box got put back as a shelter by yelling his head off until it was fixed. Now he’s shoved it all around the cage to his liking 😂

Nutmeg says thank you! She’s very pleased by the compliment and might sit for more photos so I can keep showing off her lovely colours

These two are absolute menaces at veggie time

Both of them know what the Timothy hay delivery box looks like now. The wheeking 😂😂

Edamame has, once again, knocked the box over

He hasn’t realised and still thinks he can stash food there to keep it away from Nutmeg (she’s a little hoover and will eat all of it if he doesn’t squirrel some away fast enough) 😅😅 nobody tell him

Truffle: Thank you. I adore Harry's up-do 🥰

I love everything about guinea pigs. Especially their Einstein-brains, graceful potatobodys and their not at all kleptomaniac tendencies about food.

Genuinely thought Eddie had somehow escaped overnight - couldn’t see him anywhere in the cage when I came down this morning. Nutmeg was fast asleep in the galaxy hidey but Ed was nowhere to be found. Until I rattled the pellet box and his head popped up from behind the galaxy hidey 😅

The box didn’t survive its final upending so they have a paper bag now. Nutmeg is thrilled with this turn of events - Ed can’t stash his food there now!

That hay looks amazing (so does Eddie).
It’s the Haybox Timothy hay. They love it but I have it limited to every two weeks because it’s expensive - there’s usually a few days where I get angry wheeks because it’s run out 😅

I’m glad to have it though, I’ve had trouble finding meadow hay the last couple of months. Think there was a bad harvest. Tried a new brand and it’s alright so far

Its all that lovely green timothy hay. I get that as well. Yes it is rather expensive. He really is a fine figure of a guinea pig isn't he?

I try to use it in hay racks but recently I have taken their rack out in order to give them a cardboard box (with no bottom and 2 exits) to hide in which they love.

I use ings from hay and straw for the litter trays.
