Had a little break from the internet after all the Christmas excitement. The piggies have been great Nutmeg likes getting her head scritched with veggies now, she’s growing into a proper cuddlebug. Eddie loves the hammocks - he’s a real climber. The amount of noise he makes jumping on and off

I am actually their dad haha, as is my OH (we’re both transgender). But the point stands! They have never had anything but pure thoughts clearly

They both have three white feet - Nutmeg has one black, Eddie has one chocolate brown. It’s going to make future nail trims much easier, but neither of them have outgrown baby nails yet (they’re 8 and 9 months old now )

Eddie, you are so adorable! Your stripey nose is really quite striking in the second pic. It makes you look like a little horse, with those big nostrils! much nicer than rats. Similar diet to guineas too - lots and lots of hay.

Thank you forum lady! I looked up horses and they’re massive, I’m going to take this as a personal challenge to get as big as possible (the humans already say I’m the longest guinea pig they’ve had). Then I can have even more hay! wheek wheek Edamame

Meg has grown a lot! She’s a little spherical these days haha. Ed is still bigger than her but he’s very bony because he is just so long. Even my biggest piggie Patches (1470g) wasn’t as long as he is now. And he’s only 9 months old he’d love to have Kongo as big brother!

Neither of them were thrilled I got these undignified pictures during the last weigh & health check
