Fortunately I have a special pignapping arrangement for Edamame - I pignap from afar. I enjoy photos and stories of him and lovely Meg but both Eddie and I agree his present caretaker is the BEST! I cannot compete, so Eddie stays there. But he's mine:box::box::box: No other pignappers allowed.

Kylie is terrifying! Edamame and I support this arrangement haha, he's quite happy to have a forum sponsor to ensure he gets proper treatment and enough food

I was marvelling at how much he's grown again today (I know, I know, it's normal - but he's the first time I've had a piggie from so young so I can't get over it)

Been a bit ill the last couple of weeks (chronic fatigue flare up) but the piggies are doing great. They've been giving me lots of joy. I've lucked out with two quite cuddly piggies this time - Eddie is quite happy being handled, probably because we had him from so young, but Nutmeg is a real surprise. She's totally come out of her shell and she LOVES being held. Just curls up on my chest and goes to sleep

The only cuddly pig I've had before was Tofu, and that was only when he turned 3 and mellowed out quite a lot. So I'm enjoying it haha

They're still little chaos monsters in the cage. This morning Eddie decided he wanted to turn a pee pad into a tunnel and then they both spent ages zooming through it in circles 😅

The hammocks are still a favourite. Nutmeg mostly uses her for better yelling for food 😂

Tackled the first ever nail trim for these two today. Eddie is 10 months old now, Nutmeg about 9 months, and both their nails are just starting to curl. Wasn't too difficult all things considered! OH was on hand with a carrot bribe which kept them occupied haha

Eddie did try to nibble the nail clippers, but at least he didn't throw them across the room 😅

Nutmeg only let me do two paws before she had enough, will try get the last two tomorrow. I'm glad their colouring means they both have three white paws and only one dark paw each - I hate trimming dark nails!

Nutmeg, thirty minutes later, demanding more carrot 😂

Attempted to cut Saxon's nails this morning. Managed the back paws quite easily. He let me cut 3 nails on his left front paw and then he'd had enough. I'll have another go tomorrow. Usually Lilli cuts them when they go to her for a holiday. His didn't need doing so she only did Misty and Bramble's nails.

Eddie, you're gigantic! What a huge piggy! I don't mean f a t. Not at all, you're just such a long boy and beautifully filled out compared to little-chocolate-loaf-cake-on-legs from way back when. Ten months old too, wow! I think you could maybe even get a bit bigger. Nibbling nail clippers won't help you there though, Eddie. Best beg for more carrot like your wifelet Meg.

I'm tempted to take Meg to the vets to do her black paw as well tbh. Her nails are short enough at the moment that I've got some time but it is so dark I have no idea how I'll ever be brave enough to attempt it on my own 😅

Guess who went over 1.2kg on the scales this morning...

Both piggies passed their health check with flying colours again. I do laugh at the difference in their sizes. Eddie is actually quite skinny, but he's just so long. Meg, on the other hand, is still only 960g, but she is so round I can't feel any bones anymore 😂 It's all the carrot she steals from Eddie

Thank you ☺️ I'm still a bit poorly but on the mend

OH has been taking over some of the piggie duties while I'm recovering. Unfortunately the piggies have learned exactly how to play us off each other and they keep getting double pea flakes 😂 today I took photographic evidence so when they try to con OH later it fails
