HELP! I don't know how but my guinea pig ate a few bites of a potato and I don't know if that's really bad or just minor. What should I do to make sure she doesn't get sick?

I don’t think there’s anything you can do. Just keep an eye on him/her. Someone with more knowledge will be along in the morning to answer more comprehensively.
How much did (s)he eat?

Hi! Please take a deep breath and calm down. Potatoes are NOT poisonous. ;)

They are just not something guinea pigs should live on as they are too starchy. Any starch in food is turned into sugar in the body and can contribute to diabetes in the long term, unlike veg and fruit fibre. That is the same reason we humans should eat our 'five a day' for our sustainable fibrous carb intake as well as eat the complex form of starchy carbs (which take longer to covert to sugars and which contain more fibre).

Most of our piggies have eaten something they shouldn't. Just keep her away from potatoes in future as you now know she will go for them if she sees them.
