Hi. I don’t know why, but my guinea pigs wants to be with my friend but not with me.
She hasn’t been with them more than me so idk why they’re doing this.
Example we are at floor with them, they just go to her and climb all over her body. They never come to me, and sometimes if I holding them they just leave and go to her.
They’re not be afraid of me but they just doesn’t want to be with me and that’s even worse. 😭
Please tell me that there is some another reason, I don’t want them to hate me.

And if anyone knows what i can do that they would like to be with me too please tell me
I give them treats often unlike my friend, so i dont think that it can help at least

Welcome to the forum

They do like you. they certainly dont hate you, so please dont read too far into it. It sounds as if they are just being normal piggies - they can be curious creatures and they know you so it may be they are wanting to explore your friend.

They do love you. ❤️ They know your smell so well and are probably just exploring your friend as they are a new and different smell to them.

A suggestion which might sound a little personal but it isn't meant to be! I wonder if you use perfumes or body sprays? Or strong smelling laundry powder?

I'm pretty old now, but when I was younger my husband got an allergic reaction to some types of fragrance. To be safe he had to use unscented soap and unscented deodorant and even unscented shampoo! I also gave up perfumes and scented creams as we did not know what was causing his skin reaction and it was a big change for us. So we got used to life without perfumes, and then the EU actually banned the thing he was allergic to from any products because lots of people were having problems... but by then we had a baby (a people baby, not a guinea pig baby!) and the midwife said how baby noses are very sensitive and they can get distressed by strong smelling creams or perfumes so we just stuck with using very few products. My kids are now teens and they love to splash on the fragrant shampoos, soaps and body sprays but it's not popular with the guinea pigs who have much more sensitive noses! For them, like for human babies, any perfumes are like a blindfold - they can't get to know your scent and learn that you are 'safe' if they can't smell what you actually smell like.

So make sure you don't have a strong pong and then use veggie bribes ☺️ Here's an old pic of my girl Flora learning she can trust me
